HYUNDAI BRUSH manufactures brushes that maximize the cleaning effect and surface treatment effect according to the characteristics and demands of customers' processes. Due to the nature of the steel / metal industry, operating conditions such as operating temperature, acid concentration, and line speed change for each process, so the choice of brush type and the filament is very important. The brush materials or shapes presented here are for your reference only. Please consult with our technical team to determine the appropriate brush for each process.
Cleaning line
Dirt, oil, grease or other foreign matter such as carbon or steel dust on the steel sheet must be removed before applying to the next process. This requires the selection of a low wear, medium strength brush material.
Steel plate surface activation, cleaning and degreasing(Degreasing)
ㆍAbrasive filament SiC 320
ㆍAbrasive filament SiC 500
ㆍNylon 0.2~0.3M/M
Remove grease by using electrolytic solution
ㆍSynthetic resin 0.1M/M
ㆍNylon 0.2~0.3M/M
Light rust removal and grease removal (Line speed 150meter/min Below)

산세척 공정
To remove oxides and rust before acid / alkali cleaning process, it is necessary to use a strong abrasive which can have strong brush action. After pickling, it is necessary to use a slightly weak abrasive to remove foreign substances from the surface and to remove stains from pickling.
Oxide and Rust Removal before Pickling
ㆍAbrasive filament SiC 80
Remove stains and debris after pickling
ㆍAbrasive filament SiC 120
ㆍAbrasive filament SiC 180
ㆍAbrasive filament SiC 240
Steel plate painting process
The use of smooth abrasives is required to remove foreign substances from the surface of the steel sheet and to improve paint coating adhesion without changing the composition of the steel sheet surface.

Stainless process
Can be used for pickling debris and rust removal of general steel sheet used in the manufacture of stainless steel sheet. In addition, annealing is used to remove oxides and gas residues in the process of meeting steel sheet specifications after the process.

Galvanizing process
For electroplating or Hot-dip plating, it is recommended to use a soft abrasive to remove surface and to scratch the surface for smooth plating.
